Putrajaya -> Aquaria -> KLCC -> Puteri Subang => pengsannn..

Salam..
ok ni ceriti lama daaa...

Sabtu 19 Mac aritu kami bawak kanak2 riang ke Putrajaya untuk tengok belon besor.. pagi-pagi sebelum kol 7am dah paksa diorg bangun mandi.. mengamuk2 la budak2 ni sebab kene paksa bangun =D. Masa cadang kat husband mula tu, die dah cakap taknak naik belon tu, so terasa cam die saje melambat2kan masa bertolak tu.. bile sampai sana je Husna nak naik lak, incik husband pun tetiba rasa yg sama chett.. tapi malangnye dah takde tiket daa.. 300 tiket aje per sesi (1hari 2sesi). ada yg bagitau org beratur nak beli tiket dr 6.30pagi.. ishh biar betul?

masa sampai tu dari jauh nampak belon doraemon. Husna beria nak tengok tapi dok cari2 tak jumpe. rupenye time kami sampai tu doraemon dah di'penyek'kan. Kuciwaaa.. so tengok2 aje la apa yg ade.. pergi kat gerai2 yg ade, cari apa aktiviti yg husna boleh buat.. so ini je yg cam menarik..

kat sana banyak orang main+jual pistol buih2 tu.. husna merengek la kat ayah nye...

berjaya gak dapat apa yg dihajat..

Sebelum balik, makan dulu nasi lemak yg ditapau

Sebab cam tak puas hati, next kami gi Aquaria lak.. parking kat luar KLCC and jalan ke Aquaria..

Husna ni penakut gak.. bile nampak ikan yg besar2 terus larikan diri takmo dekat kat cermin akuarium tu.. Aliff pulak cam blur aje..
gambar tak cantik pasal takleh guna flash =D

Pastu, kami gi lunch kat KLCC, singgah situ sini jap then balik la.. mula2 husband cadang bawak diorang gi Petrosains tapi cam dah kepenatan budak2 ni.. ajak balik aje la.. last saya dan husband pegi KLCC was before kawin dalam early 2006 camtu.. gile lama tak gi, semua tempat yang dicari tak jumpa hehe...

Kami bertolak balik pas singgah solat asar kat masjid KLCC tu, betul2 pas asar laa... budak2 dah tidur terus dalam kereta. Sampai rumah semua sambung tido.

Baru je nak rehat2kan diri, mak call. Soh bawak tray dari rumah mak gi puteri subang.. Aiyoo..letih lorr.. Rupenye makcik buat kenduri tahlil tapi saya tak tahu ape pun.. Hmmmm... soh pulak hantar time tuuu jugak.. terus call Hada (my sis), then nasib baik die ngan my dad still ada kat rumah, pesan diorg bwak la tray tu terus.. selamattt =D.

Pas maghrib barula kami bertolak.. dapatla Husna & Aliff rehat sekejap =D...

:: kami tengah tunggu lif nak gi umah Tok Ende =D ::
habis majlis semua dekat 11lebih.. kami minta izin balik awal laa.. lotih..

sampai rumah semua 'pengsan' =D

Stressful weekend!!

Weekend ni mencabar minda sikit pasal dua2 hero dalam rumah ni demam. Demam masing2 dekat 40degree.. haihh.. dugaan tol.. nasib Husna tak demam sekali.. Husband demam dah masuk 2 hari, pun tak kebah2 lagi ni. Langsung arr tido aje la...rehat..

Hmm.. maybe tak cukup rehat pun.. hari2 kerja balik 10-11mlm.. sabtu ahad pun selalu gi keje gak dari pagi sampai ke malam.. saya saman AESB ni kangg!! =p

Aliff pagi ni saya (sorang2 drive gi Kota Dmnsr) bawak gi klinik balik sebab Dr. dah pesan aritu soh bawak balik kalau demam datang semula. Sikit punya awal la pergidalam 8lebih sebab ingat klinik bukak kol 9am.. Sampai2 tengok, rupenye hari Ahad bukak kol 10 daa.. dahtu gi la McD KD tu nak breakfast la kununnya.. sekali tengok..mak aiii ramainye manusia..

setiap kaunter ade dalam 30 org berbaris.. hehhh org2 KD ni mmg dasattt... so pegi masuk kereta balik, beratur utk drive thru aje daa.. nak makan kat situ tak dapek la kot..dahle kami berdua aje, mane nak dokong aliff, dengan takde org boleh reservekan meja lagi..huhu.. sudahnya beli, parking depan klinik, makan dlm kereta aje daa..

so kami org pertama harini jumpa doktor =D.. and dpt la antibiotik arini.. Dr. pesan gak kalau demam jugak lepas 3 hari, kene datang balik gak sebab mungkin ada penyakit lain.. oh no no... harap demam saje laa...

Sekian. takde gambar..

:: Earth Hour 2011 ::

Ya Salam...

:: earth hour ::

Malam tadi Earth Hour. Rasanya dah masuk tahun ke-3.. 8.30malam dah off semua lampu, kipas and semua suis except utk fridge dan deep freezer.. aci tak? =D..

Tapi dalam kol 9.15mlm, husband gi bukak lak lampu..nak gi dapur and tengok sampul ubat nak makan.. alasan? gelap, tak nampak.. chett..memang le tak nampak.. tapi pastu tutup balik gak la.. so disebabkan insiden ni berlaku, saya extend sampai dekat kol 10mlm baru bukak lampu, kipas.. tu pun pasal Aliff batuk2 pastu muntah. Sebab nak tengok conditon Aliff le baru bukak lampu..

Tapi bila intai kat luar rumah, banyak sangat rumah lain yang bukak lampu.. hmm.. masih terlalu ramai orang yg tinggi sifat 'ignorance'.. mengecewakan..

:: husna & aliff dalam gelap (without flash)::

:: masih lagi dlm gelap but gambar ni with flash laa =D ::

Btw, walaupun kami ada kesilapan teknikal masa Earth Hour, harapnya apa yg saya buat ada memberi sumbangan kalaupun tak banyak mana untuk kempen ni.. SAYA SOKONG EARTH HOUR!! =D

Berjuang hingga ke titisan terakhir...

Aliff dah 1 tahun 5 bulan.. dan ummy die ni tengah struggle gile nak up kan supply ebm. keadaan agak menyedihkan jugak sebab akhir-akhir ni sampai tahap zero stock dah. hari ni pam, besok bekal utk aliff.. paling kritikal bila seminggu sebelum-sedang-selepas 'red flag' lagi la output menjunam teruk. sampai kadang2 pam tak cecah 1oz.. memang mendukacitakan..

tapi.. saya masih gagahkan diri utk terus pam dan tambah frekuensi pam walaupun memang stress. stress simpan aje dalam diri, entah husband saya paham ke tak, saya pun taktau..

tapi kalau muhasabah balik diri, memang lately kadang2 ter'skip' jadual pam.

:: dulu-dulu output pam masa umur aliff 2 bulan (1sesi pam aje ni) ::

:: hasil pam hari ni utk 3 sesi pam..hehe.. walaupun sikit tapi syukur =D ::

What can cause a decrease in pumping output?

First, consider the possibility that baby is being overfed when you're apart. If this is the case, you may actually not need to be expressing as much milk as is being requested. This is certainly not always the case, but it is not at all uncommon. See How much expressed milk will my baby need? for additional information.

When you do need to pump more milk, the first thing to check is your pump:

  • Are you using an appropriate pump for the amount of pumping that you do?
  • How old is your pump? If you have an older electric pump (particularly older than a year), or if you are pumping more often than the pump was designed for, the motor may be wearing out.
  • Many times a decrease in pumping output is because pump parts need to be replaced. Have you checked your pump and replaced any parts that are worn or that haven't been replaced in the last 3-6 months?
  • Do you have a type of pump (like the Avent Isis) that benefits from occasionally boiling the boilable parts?
  • Switching to a larger pump flange makes a difference in pumping comfort and/or output for some moms. See Choosing a Correctly-Fitted Breastshield for more information.

Supply-demand cycle:

  • Have you reduced the number of pumping or nursing sessions recently, or cut back on nursing/pumping in other ways? Milk production is a demand-supply process. More nursing/pumping results in a greater milk supply. If you consistently decrease nursing or pumping for several days, your overall milk supply will decrease and you can expect to see a decrease in pumped amounts.
  • Has baby started solids recently? As baby eats more solids and takes in less milk, overall milk supply naturally decreases and you may see a decrease in pumping output. You may not notice a change in nursing pattern, as some babies nurse just as often, but take in less milk during those sessions. If baby started solids early (before around 6 months) or is eating lots of solids early on, you are more likely to notice a drop in supply. A very gradual start to solids around 6 months or later is less likely to affect milk supply.

Hormonal causes of decreased milk supply:

  • Have you started hormonal birth control recently? Hormonal birth control, particularly that containing estrogen, can significantly decrease milk supply.
  • Are you expecting either ovulation or your period soon, or has it recently started?
  • Are you pregnant?

Taking care of mom:

  • Have you started a strict diet? Are you getting enough calories? Snacking during the day on healthy, protein-rich foods may be helpful.
  • Are you drinking to thirst? Some moms, particularly when they are at work, will get busy and forget to drink enough fluids.
  • Are you getting enough rest? This can be hard to do when you have a baby. Try to go to bed a little earlier and to take a nap each day on your days off. Consider co-sleeping so you can get more sleep. Just a little added rest may make a big difference.
  • Have you been under an unusually large amount of stress? Stress can affect let-down and pumping output.
  • Have you been sick? Illness, especially if you have a fever, mastitis or get dehydrated, can result in a temporary decrease in milk supply. Some medications can also decrease milk supply (hormonal birth control, pseudoephedrine, ethanol/alcoholic beverages, bromocriptine, ergotamine, cabergoline).

See also Hidden Hindrances to a Healthy Milk Supply

How can I increase pumping output?

To speed milk production and increase overall milk supply, the key is to remove more milk from the breast and to do this frequently, so that less milk accumulates in the breast between feedings.

Increasing frequency

  • Nurse more often when you are with your baby.
  • Are you pumping frequently enough? Is there any way you can add a pumping session at work? If necessary, when pumping times are very limited, adding even a short 5 minute pumping session is better than not pumping at all.
  • Add a pumping session or two outside of work hours or on the weekend. Try pumping after baby nurses, or pump one side while baby nurses on the other side. You might also try pumping while baby is napping, at night, or when baby goes longer than usual between nursings.
  • Does your baby complain about slower milk flow when you pump between nursings? If so, try single pumping between nursings, instead of double pumping. Although single pumping is not as effective for increasing milk supply, this leaves one breast more full, so the milk will flow more quickly. See also these tips for babies who want a faster milk flow.
  • Try cluster pumping, instead of a regular nursing/pumping session. Sit down with your baby and your pump, and nurse and pump every half-hour to hour for several hours.
  • Some moms find it helpful to do a 2-3 day long power pump every couple of weeks to "super charge" their milk supply. This is simply a nursing vacation with pumping added in. On these days, get lots of rest, nurse very frequently and pump after as many nursing sessions as possible.

Removing more milk from the breasts

  • Are you pumping long enough? When pumping to increase milk supply, it's recommended that you (double) pump for at least 15 minutes; to ensure that the pump removes an optimum amount of milk from the breast, keep pumping for 2-5 minutes after the last drops of milk. If you don't always have time to pump this long, remember that adding even a short pumping session (increasing frequency but perhaps not removing milk thoroughly) is helpful.
  • Use a good double pump. Double pumping generally results in better pumping output and is better for maintaining milk supply. Pump quality can make a huge difference in pumping output, and different moms have better results with different pumps. However, some moms with abundant milk supplies do not respond well to pumping (even using the best of pumps) and do not get much milk when pumping. These moms may get better results using manual expression.
  • Use breast massage (see "Assisting the Milk Ejection Reflex" toward the bottom of the link) and breast compression.
  • If your pump has a soft shield or shield insert available (for example, the Medela SoftFit breastshield or the Avent "Petal" massager insert), then try using the pump with and without it. Some moms have also found that they can use the Avent "Petal" massager inserts with other brands of pumps (for example, Medela or Ameda). Some moms get better results with the softer shield; some get better results without it.
  • Switching to a larger pump flange increases pumping output for some moms.

Galactagogues

  • Many working and pumping moms have found that eating oatmeal is very helpful for increasing pumping output. It can also be helpful to snack on protein-rich foods during the day and to have something to drink every time you sit down to pump or nurse.
  • Many moms have gotten good results using fenugreek or other herbs to increase supply, either on a short- or long-term basis. This is most effective when combined with increased nursing/pumping.

Other things to try

The following things are useful for maximizing nursing and minimizing the amount of expressed milk that baby needs while you are away.

Nurse right before you leave baby and immediately after you return from work. Make sure your care provider does not feed baby right before you are due to return.

Has your baby started solids? If so, have your care provider offer all (or most) solids, and only (or mainly) breastfeed when you are with baby. By doing this, baby may need less milk when you are apart (due to the solids) and will nurse more when you are together. This can both help your supply (more nursing) and decrease the amount of pumped milk you need to provide.

Encourage baby to "reverse cycle" - reverse cycling is when baby nurses frequently when mom and baby are together (usually at night) and takes little milk when mom & baby are separated.

Saya EL sebab nak buat Red Bean Bun??? =D

2nd entry for today...

Lupe le pule nak cakap, hari ni saya EL sebab Aliff demam dari semalam tak surut-surut. Suhu badan memang tinggi. Tengah malam beberapa kali die bangun mengamuk, so ayah dengan ummy ni ngantuk tahap cipan hehe.. Ayah la yg paling tabah sebab ummy still boleh terlelap gak tu..ayah la kene pangku Aliff sepanjang masa.. Toceh ayah =D..

Pas sms bos cakap EL, kol 8gerak gi klinik kanak2 kat Kota Damansara tu jugak, tapi singgah dulu breakfast kat McD kat NKVE tu since klinik pun bukak kol 9. Aliff ngan Husna pun tak mandi lagi hehe..angkut haje.. Husna takmo tinggal umah nenek, nak ikut jugak..

Sampai klinik lepas register terus jumpa doktor.. syukur tak perlu tunggu lama.. mungkin sebab hari kerja kan.. (biasa2 sampai 1jam tunggu baru sampai giliran kami..). Sebab suhu tinggi sgt, doktor masuk ubat montot. Die cakap demam sbb infection.. infection ape ehh? Saya kang terus la terpikir saya gi dok bawah jambatan/dlm culvert tu ade ke yg ngikut? tapi balik petang kelmarin saya balik umah mandi dulu baru ambil budak2 ni kat umah mak.. sebab masa 1st gi inspection jambatan2 kat PD&seremban aritu, mmg lepas tu Aliff demam gak. Asal saya balik audit/inspection je, Aliff mesti demam.. ni yg pikir ntah hape2 ni...

Kali ni mmg perangai Aliff menduga kesabaran betul, langsung takleh berenggang. Die tido pun kite kene dok sebelah die, kalau gi tempat lain, 5minit pastu die dah terjaga+mengamuk.. adehh..

Tengah hari tadi masa Aliff ngan Husna tido, sempat gak la campak bahan2 dalam breadmaker and masak simple lunch. Tapi by the time nak isi inti Aliff dah ngamuk dah... hehe..

Red bean bun.. resipi guna sweet dough Alan Ooi.. inti beli readymade aje..

(Yangbaechu Kimchi)

Salam...

Motif tiba2 minat nak try Korean food? sbb seonsengnim (선생님) saya ada sebut masakan Korean jarang guna minyak. Satu botol minyak 1 tahun pun tak habis.. so, cam minat nak try la kan...

1st dish yg jadi pilihan? of course lah kimchi sebab well known kan.. tapi ni kimchi versi simple dan malaysia style sebab guna kobis bulat je, tak guna kobis diorg yg real tu Baechu/Napa Cabbage/Kobis cina (배추). Walaupun kat Malaysia ni ada kobis cina tu, but my seonsengnim (선생님) kata tak sama.. kalau nak yg hampir2 sama kene tunggu bulan november bila kat belah2 Korea tu nak start musim sejuk =D. But lain kali nak try gak kobis cina malaysia punye laa..

Actually ni 1st time gak rasa kimchi ni.. belum pernah cuba kat restoran Korea. Masa rasa tu, 1st bende terlintas kat kepala : cam sambal belacan ajee.. =D..

Saya just buat 1/4 resipi. Cukup la kalau takat nak try kan =D.. pepper flakes diorg (고추가루), den tak jumpo lah.. so saya guna Baba's punye serbuk cili aje.. belasah..

Resipi ni saya ambil dari web Maangchi.

Yangbaechu Kimchi

Ingredients:
2lb Cabbage

kimchi paste:
1/3 cup hot pepper flakes,
1 tbs sugar,
¼ cup fish sauce,
¼ cup minced garlic,
3-4 stalks of chopped green onion (1/3 cup worth),
¼ cup’s worth of julienned carrot

Directions:

1. Cut 2 pounds of cabbage into thin strips about 2-3 inches in length and ¼ inch wide. Place into a large bowl.
2. Add 1 cup cold water and ¼ cup kosher salt. Mix it well with your hands to properly salt the cabbage.
3. Set aside for 10 minutes.
4. Make kimchi paste by mixing paste ingredients in a bowl
5. Wash and rinse the salted cabbage in cold water a couple of times. Drain the water.
6. Mix the kimchi paste into the cabbage thoroughly.
7. Put the kimchi into a container, jar, or plastic bag.
8. Press the top of the kimchi down with your hands to protect your kimchi from being exposed to too much air.
9. You can eat it right away, just like salad. Or keep it at room temperature and it will ferment in a few days. Fermented kimchi can be used for kimchi stir-fried rice or kimchi stew, and it will be delicious.

Guna la botol BPA-free!! =D

Kerajaan haramkan botol susu bayi polikarbonat 'Bisphenol A'

berita lanjut sila lihat Berita Harian Online

---------------------------------------

Terima kasih kerajaan =D...

Walaupun isu ban botol BPA ni cam dah lama... dimulakan oleh Canada pada Mei 2008, and kita hanya nak kuatkuasa 1 Mac 2012, takpela.. asalkan ada base macam ni kira bersyukur sangat dah...

Saya tahu pasal botol polycarbonate ni masa Husna masih guna botol kira dalam tahun 2008 camtu. Mula2 memang guna botol biasa jenama Pureen and Avent. Lepas tau pasal BPA ni, terus semua botol buang.

Secara asasnya, kalau jumpa label segitiga dgn no.7 kat bawah botol plastik tu, maka tu polycarbonate la namanya.. bukanla bermaksud "boleh pakai 7 kali" or whatever it is.

4(low density polyethylene),
5(polypropelene),
1(polyethelene terephthalate ethylene) &
2(high density polyethylene).

Kalau nombor selain tu adalah tak selamat. Nombornya adalah
3(polyvinyl chloride),
6(polystyrene) dan
7 (other&polycarbonate)

So pilihan di tangan anda =D
